Watermelon Sake Slushie Cocktail Recipe
This super easy watermelon sake slushie cocktail recipe is a perfect easy-drinking cocktail for the summer, and only needs two ingredients.
This is the easiest frozen cocktail recipe ever. This recipe is so easy, in fact, it's barely even a recipe: to make a sake and watermelon slushie cocktail, all you need is sake and watermelon.
That's it.
For the sake, daiginjo is best for its aromatically fruity, almost sweet notes. But any clear (not cloudy), non-sparkling sake will work well for this recipe too.

(Makes two short cocktails.)
Ingredients:
300g watermelon
180ml sake
Method:
1. Chop and de-seed the watermelon. leaving some of the small, young seeds behind is fine, just remove the tough big ones – but if you have a super strong blender like my Sage Fresh and Furious blender, it'll totally pulverise any stragglers left behind.
2. Place in a sealable freezer bag and freeze for at least four hours, but preferably overnight.
3. Put the frozen watermelon chunks in a blender together with the sake, and blend until smooth.
4. Pour into two glasses. If you have any extra watermelon lying around, garnish the glasses with small slices, and serve.
Enjoy, and have fun.
